This Centre is founded in response to an escalating need felt by scientists, lawyers, technologists and companies. The object was, and still is, to gain a thoughtful knowledge in patent, trade marks, design and copyright law. More in meticulous the CSRIPR wishes to gain a better insight and glimpse into new and evolving areas of intellectual property law (such as the protection of software, semi-conductor products and biotechnological inventions, standardisation and technology transfers) and the general problems of patents, trade marks, designs and copyright.

To concertize these objects the CSRIPR will organizes a manifold of activities on an interdisciplinary level. These activities include fundamental research the gathering of documentation, organizing conferences and scientific service to the community.

Because of its various activities the CSRIPR will acquire an establish reputation on the national as well as on the international level.

Objectives of Centre for Study & Research in Intellectual Property Rights, (CSRIPR):-

• To prop up Intellectual Property awareness among students, faculties through modernized awareness campaigns.

• To systematize short-term Intellectual Property modules, seminars, workshops and conferences.

• To safeguard million worth Intellectual creations generated by Engineering students and Research scholars through aerodynamic loom in Patent Filing.

• To chip in Academicians, Researchers, Students and Entrepreneurs to register their Patents and Trademarks in an effective manner.

• To build up a symbiotic technology transfer mechanism between Technology providers and its end users.

• To develop a methodology to monitor the present level of technology and its future course of development.
